Dalesman Agricultural Business of the Year Award goes to Keelham!

We had some really great news on Sunday finding out that we have won the Dalesman Agricultural Business of the Year Award.

This is a fantastic accolade as the awards are nominated and voted for by the Dalesman readers, a prestigious publication which embodies the essence of life in the Dales.

A massive ‘thank you’ goes out to all our Keelham customers and readers that voted for Keelham to win. We wouldn’t win any of these awards without your support and recognition of what we do here. [More]

It's National Honey Week - come and celebrate at Keelham

As you may have noticed in the British media over the last few weeks it's been a particularly bad winter for bees due to the ongoing colder weather depleting their strength.

We love supporting local honey here at Keelham, so with that in mind we are spending the week promoting the range of honey we stock from Denholme Gate Apiary just down the road.

You can come and sample one of their many different flavours in the Keelham Kitchen this week. You might not know that we use Denholme Gate Apiary honey in some of our butchery products too. We will also be sampling our deliciously sweet honey and ginger sausages and our gold award winning black pudding which is bound together with Denholme Gate Honey. [More]

Pie’s the limit at Keelham

As reported in the Yorkshire Post on Thursday we have recently acquired Amblers Pies in Thornton.

Amblers have a heritage going all the way back to 1888. We have stocked these local pies for many years and they have long proved popular with our customers and indeed on our own dinner plates at home.

By retaining the Ambler name and recipes we carry on a local tradition and hold onto products which we can now exclusively offer to Keelham customers. We also have plans to look at extending the range to give shoppers even more variety. [More]
